How to attract new guests from hotels at a B&B

Must read

Either you aim to attract new guests or aim for returns (or both, even if it is difficult), even if the location is always the master, the new clientele is attracted by the price, by captivating photos and services, trying to postpone if not veiled the defects. A clientele made up of returns is based on the real experience, not the apparent one. New guests can also be dissatisfied with their stay so much the payment is always in advance while returning customers must always be satisfied and the difference can be seen from the reviews. The true comfort of a hotel room is something you can’t see but feel. It is made up of details, with a good taste of hospitality. Pleasing both types of guests is very difficult, almost impossible, every hotel always has a propensity for one or the other. There are always those who make the price lower than yours, but at the same time a regular guest hardly tries to change, a winning horse cannot be changed. Unfortunately, one night of overbooking is enough to make an old guest try a competing structure, and if it goes wrong you lose a guest who is generally a good one, since they are always willing to pay a little more than the average to feel good. Many managers say that you earn more from hit and run, as you see the proliferation of depersonalized bureaucratized hotel chains offering almost indecent service and surviving despite negative reviews. Many other directors, on the other hand, spread red carpets at the feet of their guests, pamper them and do not let them escape at very expensive extra costs. I really don’t know how to quantify the percentage of one or another, or who is right or wrong, but I believe that most hotels, except for a few rare cases, try to satisfy both categories also because you never know what the guest wants. In fact, there are guests who do not appreciate too much confidence, even when it is to make the guest feel more at ease, and maybe they prefer to book, sleep and leave without anyone bothering him with attitudes such as “I’ll take your suitcase to the room”.
